Where the Do North adventure began
In 2017, Charlotte’s family bought a bar/restaurant/resort on the chain of lakes in Three Lakes, Wisconsin. This was a sort of “coming home” for the Pike family as Three Lakes had first been a happy place for the Pike grandparents in the 70s that was eventually adopted by subsequent generations, Many of the Pikes’ fondest memories and greatest relationships have been born here, and it’s a place we’re now happy to call (at least part-time) home.
Through the birth of Pike’s Pine Isle Lodge and reacquainting with this part of “up north”, Charlotte became keenly aware that everyone who passes through has a story, a connection, and we all share a common thread of that special something that makes us feel like we’re part of some big magic. Thus, Do North was born as a way to share the love — through apparel and community — for, not only Three Lakes, but that special feeling of “up north”, wherever that place is for you.
Meet Charlotte
Happiest near water — doesn’t matter if it’s frozen or flowing. Usually has her black lab, Gus, in toe. Splits time between being a corporate city boss in Milwaukee and a do-er of all the North via Three Lakes. Enjoys true crime, red wine, and graphic design to accompany the journey in between.
